Barbara G.

Barbara Gilbert currently serves as the Marketing Director at The Glen at Heather Farm, overseeing the startup of a new 352-unit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Walnut Creek since May 2021. Previously, Barbara has held the position of Marketing Director at Stoneridge Creek since September 2007, successfully maintaining occupancy rates at 98% or higher for a 565-unit CCRC. Early career experience includes roles as Marketing Manager, where responsibility included managing a team and achieving 100% occupancy during the initial phase of the community, and as Senior Residency Counselor, engaging with seniors and families before the community's opening. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis, obtained between 1993 and 1995.
