Howard Olah-Reiken

Howard Olah-Reiken has extensive and diverse work experience in the technology industry. Howard is currently the Chief Technology Officer at The Glimpse Group and has been in this position since October 2017. In addition, they hold the role of CTO at Foretell Reality, a subsidiary company of The Glimpse Group. At Foretell Reality, Howard is responsible for providing virtual reality co-working spaces and enhancing productivity and human communications through their secure VR platform. Howard was also the CTO of Adept Reality, which is another role within Foretell Reality.

Before joining The Glimpse Group, Howard worked at Preferred App Consulting as the President, Software Architect, App Developer, and Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality Innovator. Howard held this position from March 2011 onwards.

Prior to Preferred App Consulting, Howard served as a Technical Advisor and Consultant at OysterLabs, Inc. starting from August 2016 to June 2018. Howard was then promoted to VP of Technology Solutions/Solutions Architect/Virtual Reality Innovator/Quality Control from September 2014 to July 2016. OysterLabs specializes in mobile customer relationship building and offers mobile analytics, CRM, and messaging platforms, as well as mobile services for brands and companies.

Howard also worked as an Augmented Reality Technical Advisor at Membit Inc. from July 2014 to June 2018. Howard played a crucial role in the inception and development of their AR photo sharing app for mobile phones. Howard continues to act as a technical advisor and provides guidance on business development and upcoming releases.

Furthermore, Howard held roles at Mana Health, Augmate, NorthPoint Solutions, LookSmart, and Epilogic. At Mana Health, they were the Director of API and Quality from August 2016 to April 2017. Howard also served as a VR Innovator and Developer at Mana Health from March 2016 to April 2017. At Augmate, Howard worked as an AR Developer and Advisor from July 2013 to November 2013. Howard defined and built prototypes for AR apps and provided analysis and testing for Augmate's Enterprise Wearables Environment Management Platform.

Earlier in their career, Howard worked at NorthPoint Solutions as a Project Manager and Senior Consultant from January 2007 to March 2011. Howard was also a Senior Software Architect at LookSmart from November 2001 to January 2007, and a Consultant and Chief Infrastructure Architect at Epilogic from July 2001 to October 2001.

Howard Olah-Reiken earned a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Computer Science from Brooklyn College in 1985. Howard then pursued further education and completed a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1991.
