Daniel Tascon is an experienced investment director currently with The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), focusing on capital deployment in energy transition projects across multiple regions, particularly in battery energy storage systems. Previously, Daniel served as an investment manager, leading due diligence and negotiations in the renewable energy sector, and mentoring junior team members. Daniel's earlier experience includes notable roles at RB&A Partners, where significant achievements comprised leading the Public Investment Fund's $11 billion corporate financing and a $4 billion project financing for Bapco, which received the PFIe 2019 Middle East Petrochemical deal of the year. Prior roles also include project finance and financial modeling at RSM UK and a summer analyst position at Barclays. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and has completed executive education in Circular Economy and Sustainability Challenges at Cambridge Judge Business School.
