Naomi Wagura

Naomi Wagura is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in clean energy programs and policy development. Currently serving as Director and Chief of Staff at The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), Naomi has held several key positions within the organization, including Director of Country Programs and Manager of Country Programs. Previous roles include Off Grid Electrification Adviser at the PNG Economic and Social Infrastructure Program, Manager of Country Programs at The Rockefeller Foundation, and Energy Specialist at Sustainable Energy for All. Naomi's earlier experience includes positions at CLASP, African Solar Designs, and PowerGen Renewable Energy, where skills in engineering, project management, and partnership building were honed. Naomi holds a Master of Engineering Studies in Renewable Energy Systems from Massey University, an Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship from the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs, and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Kenyatta University, alongside an A.C.C.A certification in Finance and Accounting.
