Seema Chandel

Seema Chandel is an experienced finance and operations professional currently serving as the Director of People and Operations for Asia at The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) since August 2023. Prior to this role, Chandel held various senior positions, including Senior Director-Finance and Operations and Director of Finance and Operations at Smart Power India from October 2015 to July 2023, and Head of Finance at Marie Stopes India from November 2014 to October 2015. Chandel's earlier roles include Manager Finance at Save the Children India, Program Officer Finance at the International Planned Parenthood Federation, and Finance Manager at WaterAid. Chandel began the career as a Finance and Administration Officer at Catholic Relief Services and served as Centre Manager-Finance and Administration at Samarthan-Centre for Development Support. Chandel is a Chartered Accountant, having completed the qualification through The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Osmania University.
