Larissa Harari

Larissa Harari has a long history of work experience in the social impact field. Larissa began their career in 2012 as an Assistant Project Manager at Viva Rio. Larissa then moved up to Communications Supervisor and Strategic Management Office and Project Coordinator HAITI AQUI at the same organization in 2014. In 2016, they became an Apprentice at BRCK Education, where they were responsible for product management, partnerships, field trips, impact monitoring, and customer relations. Larissa then co-founded and became the Director of Gera Social in 2019, where they trained 150 people, offered personalized services to 3 private companies, and partnered with 18 social organizations. In 2020, they were accepted as a Rotary International Peace Fellow at the Duke-UNC Rotary Peace Center, where they were able to expand their capacity as a leader and catalyst for peace and conflict resolution. In 2021, they became a Civil Society Resilience Fellow at PartnersGlobal and a PMO Larissa For Larissa Intern at UN Women. Finally, in 2022, they began their current role as Client Engagement Manager at The Global Good Fund.

Larissa Harari has a long and varied educational history. Larissa completed a Bachelor's degree in International Relations at Ibmec from 2010-2014. In 2013, they also completed Graduate Studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, focusing on Political and Social Larissa'story of Israel and the Middle East. Larissa then attended Amani Institute from 2016-2017, where they earned a Social Innovation Management degree with a focus on Design Thinking. Most recently, they have been attending Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy, where they are pursuing a Master's degree in International Development and Policy, expected to be completed in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD Pro) Level 1 from APMG International in 2018, and Sales: Customer Success from LinkedIn in 2018.
