Ron van Veen

Ron van Veen has extensive experience in conference and event management, currently serving as Senior Manager at the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) since April 2012, with a progression from Senior Coordinator to Manager within the organization. Prior to GRI, Ron held project management roles at NewBrooklyn and MCI Amsterdam, as well as at VUmc, where responsibilities included course and congress organization. Ron began a career in project management at VU University Amsterdam, focusing on conference services. Educationally, Ron completed a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism & Leisure Sciences, Management from Breda University of Applied Sciences and participated in the IAPCO Course through the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers in 2000.
