Ian Del Duca has held a variety of roles in the entertainment industry since 2002. In that year, they began working as a Stage Operations and Scenic Painter at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Ian then went on to work at the MoMA as an Audio Programming Staff in 2010, and the same year they were an Asst. Production Manager at the Atlantic Theater Company. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Theatre Educator (Design and Technology), Resident Designer/Technician, and Community Relations Specialist at the YMCA of Greater New York. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Production Coordinator/Project Manager at Glow Design Group. During this time, they also worked as an Adjunct Professor/Production Manager at Hunter College. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Technical Supervisor at John Jay College (CUNY). In 2018, they began working as a Software Developer/Consultant at Stride Consulting, and they are currently a Software Engineer at The Gnar Company, Inc.
Ian Del Duca received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from SUNY New Paltz in 2002. Ian then went on to earn their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Lighting Design from the University of South Carolina in 2009.
