Sarah Forster is the CEO and Co-Founder of The Good Economy, established in 2015 to advance an inclusive economy focused on impact investment and the Sustainable Development Goals. Previously, Sarah served as Deputy CEO and Development Director at Big Issue Invest, where significant contributions were made to its development into a leading social impact investment intermediary managing over £150 million. As an Independent Senior Consultant for CGAP at the World Bank Group, Sarah provided expertise in microfinance projects across multiple nations. Earlier roles included Programme Director at the New Economics Foundation, where Sarah led research on social enterprises and their impact, and Senior Economist at the World Bank, focusing on poverty alleviation projects. Sarah Forster's educational background includes a master's degree in Economic and Political Development from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Cambridge.
