Edward Sargent

Edward Sargent has a diverse work experience. Edward is currently the Chief Executive Officer at The Gottman Institute. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Digital Product Officer and Executive Director of Online Learning at the same company. Before joining The Gottman Institute, Edward worked as the Founder and Director of PACE-IT Academy from 2015 to 2017. Edward also served as the PACE-IT Director at Edmonds Community College from 2013 to 2015. Earlier in their career, Edward was the Associate Dean of Business and Technology at Lake Washington Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2013. Edward started their professional journey as a Trainer at The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from 1999 to 2003.

Edward Sargent began their education in 1982 at the Manhattan Center for Science and Math, where they obtained their High School Diploma in General Studies in 1986. Edward then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Social Studies from Ithaca College between 1986 and 1993. Following this, Edward attended Pratt Institute from 1995 to 1997, earning a Master's degree in MLIS (Master of Library and Information Science).
