Darian Wilson is an experienced educator and program coordinator with a diverse background in youth development and community engagement. Currently serving as a YSTAY Teacher at The Granite YMCA since August 2023, Darian is also the Founder of Black People Know Things, a trivia night event aimed at celebrating and exploring culturally relevant topics. Prior experience includes roles as a Restorative Practices Coordinator at Denver Public Schools, where focus was on building support systems for students, and as Club Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, managing operations and programming. With earlier positions as a Youth Development Specialist and High School Coordinator, Darian has consistently demonstrated a commitment to mentorship and community programming since the start of a career with AmeriCorps in 2012. Educational background includes attendance at Cardinal Stritch University and graduating from Riverside University High School.
