Emily Goupil

Executive Director, Camp Foss at The Granite YMCA

Emily Goupil has a diverse work experience history. Emily currently serves as the Director of Camp Foss at The Granite YMCA, a role they started in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the University of New Hampshire as the Coordinator of Youth and Instructional Programs from July 2019 to November 2021. Emily also served as a Resident Director at the University of California Santa Barbara from August 2018 to June 2019, and as a Residence Hall Director at the University of New Hampshire from August 2014 to May 2018. Emily has also worked as a Disc Jockey at Emily & Company from December 2008 to September 2014. Throughout their career, they have held various positions at the University of Rhode Island, including Graduate Assistant, Graduate Intern, Housing Manager, URI 101 Instructor, and Program for Academic Skills and Success (PASS) Coach. Emily was also the Program Director at YMCA Camp Foss from May 2013 to August 2013, and held roles as a Store Manager and Recreation Director at YMCA Camp Foss from June 2011 to August 2012. Emily's experience also includes serving as an Americorps Member at City Year New Hampshire from August 2011 to June 2012, and as an Assistant Hall Director and Resident Assistant at the University of New Hampshire from May 2009 to May 2011.

Emily Goupil has a strong educational background. Emily completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in College Student Personnel from the University of Rhode Island from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Recreation Management and Policy: Program Administration, with minors in Youth Development and Psychology, from the University of New Hampshire between 2008 and 2011.

In addition to their academic achievements, Emily has also acquired several certifications. In July 2021, they obtained CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross. In March of 2020, they earned the ServSafe Manager certification from ServSafe Certified. Furthermore, in November 2019, they became a Level 1 Archery Instructor certified by USA Archery.
