Michael van Den Bos

Michael van den Bos has extensive experience in the fields of animation and film education. Currently serving as an Animation History Instructor at Capilano University since 2007, Michael teaches a comprehensive course on western classical animation, encompassing lectures, screenings, and assessment responsibilities. Additionally, Michael contributes as a Program Consultant and Host for The Cinematheque's Cinema Sunday Series since 2009, where film introductions and audience interactions take place. Michael's expertise extends to event moderation, having hosted notable panels at various conferences and events. Noteworthy positions also include instructor roles at Vancouver Film School and Pacific Audio Visual Institute, alongside film writing for Vancouver View Magazine. Michael's production experience spans animated television programming at both Studio B Productions and International Rocketship Ltd., where management and creative oversight were key responsibilities.
