Chris Vowell

Chris Vowell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Chris began their career as President of Fueled Media in 1998, and later became President of nLightn Creative (formerly Fueled Media) in 1999, a position they held until 2022. In 2008, they founded Realty Pilot, where they served as CTO and was responsible for developing and marketing innovative software solutions for the real estate industry. Additionally, Chris worked as Assistant Vice President of Design & Development at Markit from 2011 to 2014, and as a Full Stack Web Developer at Advertising Production Resources from 2014 to 2016. Chris most recently worked at The Greenbrier Companies as a Senior Application Developer Team Lead since October 2019.

Chris Vowell earned a BA in Fine Art from Pepperdine University, graduating in 1996. Following this, from 1996 to 1998, they attended Eastern New Mexico University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design & Animation. Before entering college, Chris attended Animas High from 1990 to 1994, although they did not receive a degree or specify a field of study at that time. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained an MCSE certification from Microsoft in July 2013, followed by a certification as an HTML5 and Javascript specialist from the same institution in June 2013. Most recently, in February 2020, Chris acquired the OpenHack: Containers certification from Microsoft OpenHack.
