Mike Mathews

Mike Mathews is an experienced engineering designer with a diverse background in product and tool design, spanning from 1978 to the present. Currently working at The Greenbrier Companies since June 2016, Mike specializes in creating 3D models, assemblies, and drawings for tank car production using NX7.5 CAD software. Previous roles include contract positions at Hussmann, C K Engineering, and Bodine Aluminum, where Mike developed CAD models, designed specialized tooling, and focused on manufacturing support. Prior to these roles, Mike contributed to product design at Eaton's Bussmann Business and Cooper Bussmann, and engineered complex plastic components at Siegel-Robert Automotive. Educational credentials include an Associate Degree in Applied Science, Tool Fixture & Die Design from Macomb Community College.
