Peter Jones

Peter Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Peter currently holds the position of SVP, International Engineering, Product Development & Automation at The Greenbrier Companies since October 2019. Prior to this, they served as the VP of International Engineering & Product Development at the same company since May 2017. Before joining The Greenbrier Companies, Peter worked at Mitsui Rail Capital, LLC, where they held the roles of VP of New Business Development and VP of Operations. Peter also served as a Regional VP of Sales at Wabtec Corporation and as a Manager of Engineering at Thrall Car Manufacturing. Peter began their career as a Project Manager at Powell Duffryn Rail projects.

Peter Jones earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Swansea University between 1990 and 1993. From 1995 to 2001, they pursued a Master's degree in Rail Systems Engineering at The University of Sheffield. In 2009, Peter attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business for the Chicago Management Institute program and received a CMI (Chicago Management Institute) certification.
