Caitlin Kitson

Caitlin Kitson is an experienced professional in journalism and education, currently serving as a Contributing Culture Editor and Senior Staff Writer at The GW Hatchet since October 2021, with a progression of roles including Director of Development and Assistant News Editor. Caitlin has also gained experience as an Academic Administrative Assistant and Program Aide at The School of The New York Times in the summer of 2024, and as a CNN Heroes Intern at CNN during the summer of 2023. Prior to these roles, Caitlin worked as a Camp Counselor at Woodmont Day Camp. Caitlin is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at The George Washington University, with additional educational experiences at the CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange and Institut catholique de Paris. Educational background includes graduating from Brooklyn Technical High School and attending The School of The New York Times for two summer programs.
