Katarina Engst

Katarina Engst is a dedicated political science student at The George Washington University, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a Press Intern for the United States Senate since August 2024, Katarina has gained valuable experience in media and communication through previous internships at WNYC Radio's The Brian Lehrer Show and the U.S. House of Representatives' District Office of Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke, focusing on constituent services and immigration processes. Additional internship experience includes working with the National Council of Resistance of Iran, contributing to research at CarbonQuest, and serving as an intern for New York State Assemblywoman Judy Griffin. Earlier work experience includes roles as a server at Marvel Frozen Dairy and BurgerFi.
