Joe Wedgwood has had a varied and extensive career in the communications and marketing industry. Starting in 2008, they worked as an Assistant Warehouse Manager for Monix/Freez Ltd. In 2009, they worked as a Journalist & Researcher for Dods Group PLC. In 2010, they were a Teaching Assistant & Football Coach at Winsor Primary School. In 2012, they worked as a Team Leader at The Challenge, a UK charity for building a more integrated society. In 2013, they did Seasonal farm work in Australia. In 2014, they were a Project Worker & Counsellor at SHP (Single Homeless Project). In 2015, they were Communications Manager at Kayman Recruitment. Finally, from 2016 onwards, they have been Brand & Design Manager, Chief Storyteller, Marketing Executive, and Content & PR Executive at The Happiness Index.
Joe Wedgwood received their Bachelor's Degree in Sports Journalism from Solent University between 2007 and 2010. Joe also holds certifications from the Sales Impact Academy, HubSpot, Lynda.com, The Football Association, Innovate Awarding, and OCR. These certifications include Demand Generation, HubSpot Marketing Certified, Brand Demystified: The Building Blocks for Achieving Business Fame, Illustrator 2020 Essential Training, InDesign CC 2017 Essential Training, Photoshop 2020 Essential Training, Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football, IAO Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Nutrition and Health (QCF), and Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools.
