Gary D'Onofrio

Gary D'Onofrio is an experienced professional in the insurance and reinsurance industry, currently serving as the Director of Sales for Group Reinsurance Plus at The Hartford since April 2009. In this role, Gary consults with clients on reinsurance products tailored to enhance performance in the group benefits market, with a focus on private label offerings and existing portfolio enhancements. Gary has held various positions at The Hartford, including Eastern Region Sales Manager and Assistant Manager, where responsibilities included building and coaching sales teams to grow the small business segment. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Sales Representative and Sr. Marketing Representative at The Hartford and as a licensed insurance agent with Liberty Mutual. In addition to a successful career in the corporate sector, Gary contributed to public service as a Council Member for the Town of Indian Trail and as Chairman of the ABC Board of Indian Trail. Gary’s educational background includes studies at Hofstra University and Stony Brook University.
