Maureen Dunne

Maureen Dunne is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Fact Checker for South Side Weekly and a Freelance Reporter for The Harvey World Herald since 2023. Additionally, Maureen has worked as a Documenter and Fact-Checker at City Bureau since 2021 and previously held the position of Reporting Resident at Injustice Watch. With a strong foundation in journalism, Maureen contributed as a Production Assistant at DePaul Center for Journalism Excellence and Integrity and fulfilled roles as Community Peacekeeper and Associate Editor for various publications. Maureen’s educational background includes a Bachelor's of Arts in Journalism from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
