Helen Lanes

Helen Lanes is an accomplished interior design professional with extensive experience in the industry. Currently serving as the Interior Design Lead at The Haskell Company since September 2024, Helen has previously held key roles as Principal at Michael Graves Architecture & Design and Waldon Studio Architects, where Helen also served as Principal and Interior Design Director. Helen has a robust background in healthcare interior design, having worked as a Healthcare Interior Design Consultant at Lanes Consulting and as the Interior Design Manager for Inova Health System. Additionally, Helen played a significant role in the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers as Director Emeritus. Helen's prior experience includes positions at Hord Coplan Macht, Perkins+Will, RTKL, and Marriott International. Helen holds a degree in Interior Design from Virginia Tech, earned between 1981 and 1985.
