Anne Cody has extensive experience in health-related research, currently serving as the Head of Investigator-led Grants, Research Careers and Enablers at the Health Research Board (HRB) since March 2002. In this role, Anne oversees a team responsible for the entire grant lifecycle, focusing on public involvement in research. Previously, Anne held various positions at the HRB, including Head of Pre-Award, Head of Clinical and Applied Biomedical Research, and Head of Research Infrastructure and Special Initiatives, driving initiatives in research funding and infrastructure development. Prior to HRB, Anne was a post-doctoral researcher and temporary lecturer in biochemistry at Trinity College Dublin. Anne holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Cell Biology and a Master’s Degree in Business Practice from the Irish Management Institute.
