Karen Crowley

Karen Crowley is a skilled project officer currently working at the Health Research Board (HRB) since March 2022, focusing on clinical trials and interventions within research and innovation infrastructures. Prior to this role, Karen served as a research officer at University College Dublin for a brief period in early 2022 and held the position of project officer at HRB from September 2020 to December 2021, concentrating on pre-award and data infrastructures as well as personalised medicine. Additionally, Karen has experience as an upper GI database manager at the HRB Clinical Research Facility at University College Cork from 2013 to 2015. Academically, Karen holds a PhD in breast cancer from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, an MSc in translational oncology from Trinity College Dublin, and a BSc in biochemistry from University College Cork.
