Louise Farragher

Louise Farragher is a committed and dynamic health information professional with extensive experience in the health research and information sector. Currently serving as a Senior Information Officer at the Health Research Board (HRB) since August 2001, Louise plays a vital role in the HRB Evidence Centre, offering tailored information services and collaborating on evidence reviews for health policymakers. Previous roles include Information Specialist in both the Evidence Generation & Knowledge Brokering Unit and the HRB National Drugs Library. Louise served as Chair of the Health Sciences Libraries Group and held a position on the Executive Board of the Library Association of Ireland. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc in Health Services Research from University of Galway, a Masters in Library & Information Science from University College Dublin, and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Scranton.
