James Bishop

James Bishop has two years of work experience. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at The Helper Bees. Prior to that, in 2019, they worked as a Team Lead at Lambda School. As a Team Lead, they were responsible for reviewing student code and providing feedback, leading stand up meetings, and overseeing build weeks as a project lead for a group of 4-8 students.

James Bishop attended The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley from 2005 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. James then returned to the same university from 2010 to 2013, graduating with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2019, they attended BloomTech for Computer Science. In 2020, they obtained certifications from Lambda School for Full-Stack Web Development + Technical Interviewing and from Amazon Web Services for an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
