Debra Simmers

Debra Simmers currently serves as the Global Head of Talent Acquisition at The Hershey Company, beginning in October 2023. Prior to this role, Debra Simmers held various positions at Bristol Myers Squibb, including Enterprise Wide Project Global HR BP and Executive Director of Talent Acquisition Business Partners, from November 2019 to October 2023. At Celgene, Debra Simmers was responsible for executive recruitment and talent pipelining from March 2018 to November 2019. Debra Simmers also gained extensive experience at Axovant Sciences and Novartis, where roles included Head of Human Resources, Head of Talent Acquisition, and multiple positions focused on talent acquisition within the oncology sector. Debra Simmers began the career as an HR Consultant and Clinical Recruiter after earning a BA in English from Montclair State University.
