Ron Evans

Ron Evans is a seasoned technologist with extensive experience in software development and architecture, specializing in Internet of Things (IoT), computer vision, and robotics applications. Since January 2002, Ron has served as a Technologist For Hire at The Hybrid Group, leading development teams and focusing on open-source technologies, particularly in Go and C/C++. Previously, Ron held significant roles as a Principal Consultant at Northvolt and AT&T, as well as Principal Software Architect at Intel Corporation, Sphero, and Pebble Tech, where contributions included creating critical software architectures and integration libraries. Educational experiences include studies in Computer Science and Cognitive Psychology at UC San Diego.
