Akshaya B.

Akshaya B. has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Akshaya started their career as an Arts and Lifestyle Editor at Vertigo Magazine in 2016 and worked there until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, Akshaya served as a Fashion Intern at ELLE Magazine. Akshaya then joined Steven Khalil as a Fashion Design Intern from February 2019 to July 2019. In 2017, they also started working as a Sales Associate at Jo Mercer and continued in this role until January 2021. In 2021, Akshaya worked as a Fashion Design Intern at MANNING CARTELL from January to March, followed by roles at THE ICONIC. Akshaya started as a Content Copywriter from January 2021 to October 2021, then became a Category Buying Assistant from October 2021 to January 2023. Currently, they are working as a Design Assistant for LOVER & Minima Essenciales at THE ICONIC.

Akshaya B. completed a Bachelor of Communication (Public Communication) from the University of Technology Sydney between 2015 and 2017. Akshaya then pursued a Bachelor of Design (Second Class Honours) in Fashion and Textiles from the same university from 2018 to 2021. In 2020, Akshaya also participated in the Leather Technology Global Studio program at Polimoda.
