Cecil Medara

Cecil Medara has a diverse background in software engineering, with experience in various companies and roles.

Starting in 2015, Cecil worked as a Programmer at Cloudhq4, a Saas software company specializing in cloud-based integrated business management solutions. This role lasted until October 2017.

From September 2017 to October 2019, Cecil served as the Lead Software Engineer at Pelikin, a multi-currency free prepaid Visa card product. In this position, Cecil was responsible for setting a vision for technology usage within the company, utilizing a tech stack that included React, React Native, Redux, PHP Laravel, Node, MySQL, MongoDB, and AWS.

Next, Cecil joined Detector Inspector in May 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer. This role lasted until September 2021.

Currently, Cecil works at THE ICONIC as a Software Engineer, starting in October 2021.

Cecil Medara pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 2002, they attended Rongotai College where they obtained their high school diploma. Cecil then moved on to Newlands College from 2006 to 2007 to further their high school education. In 2007, they enrolled at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, where they studied Computer Science and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in 2011. Finally, in 2012, Cecil attended Deakin University to pursue a Post Graduate Certificate in Information Technology, which they obtained in 2013.
