Tomisin Salam has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tomisin is the CEO and Founder of FiatMatch, where they are leading the strategic vision to build a universal bank for the global diaspora. Tomisin is also the President and Founder of The Immigrant Library, a non-profit organization that provides settlement and career growth tools and resources for immigrants. In addition, they are a Founder of BFN Accelerate 2023 at Black Founders Network and a Fintech Fellow at On Deck. Previously, Tomisin was a Co-Owner of Succor Business Hub, offering virtual office solutions for new and small businesses. Tomisin also founded StudyInc. and worked as a Go-To-Market Partner for various startups. Tomisin has experience in strategic partnerships at The Rumie Initiative and served as a Business Manager at 99.9 Kiss FM, where they played a key role in revamping operations and implementing financial systems. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Reconciliation Officer at FERMA and completed their National Youth Service Corps. Throughout their career, Tomisin has demonstrated leadership, entrepreneurship, and a commitment to supporting the immigrant community.
Tomisin Salam earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University (O.O.U) between 2001 to 2006. Later, from 2012 to 2013, Tomisin obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Georgian College. In 2013 to 2014, Tomisin pursued a Master of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology degree at the University of Waterloo. Tomisin also holds additional certifications including CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) from HRPA (Human Resources Professionals Association) in 2012 and Certified Management Consulting in Educational Requirements from CMC-Canada (Canadian Association of Management Consultants).
