George Clode

George Clode is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as Senior Commercial Editor at The Independent since July 2022, George has a strong background in branded content, having been Head of Branded Content at Culture Trip from November 2020 to July 2022. Additionally, George hosts The Company Doctor Podcast since December 2020. Previous roles include Commercial Editor and Commissioning Editor for travel at The Telegraph, Editor at Jacobs Media Group, and various editorial positions at Current Publishing and Sublime Magazine. George holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Reading.
