Maryam Manzoori

Maryam Manzoori is a National Security/Media Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies since February 2024 and has been a Translator and Research Assistant at The Washington Institute For Near East Policy since 2020. Additionally, Maryam serves as a Writer focusing on Foreign Policy and the Middle East for The Independent. Between 2020 and 2021, Maryam worked as a Journalist for Iran International. Prior to these roles, Maryam was an International Broadcaster at Voice of America from 2009 to February 2020 and a Broadcast Journalist at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty from 2003 to 2009. Maryam holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the College of Technical Safety and Occupational Health in Tehran, Iran, obtained from 1997 to 2001.
