Mohsen also has experience working at Weatherford as an Operations Finance Controller - Production & Completion, TechnipFMC as a Finance Manager - Surface International Saudi, Schlumberger as an Operations Controller - Well Intervention Saudi & Bahrain and as a Country Controller - Bahrain, Deloitte as a Business Analyst - Strategy & Operations, Mondelēz International as a Manufacturing Engineer, GE Energy as a Graduate Management Program Trainee, Bahrain Petroleum Company as a Plant Engineering Trainee, and Aluminium Bahrain as a Maintenance Trainee.

Mohsen Almarzooq has a diverse education history. In 2003, they received a Scottish Highers degree in Maths, Physics, and Computing from Edinburgh College. Mohsen then pursued a BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey in 2004-2005, followed by a Ministry of Education Scholarship at the University of Bradford, where they obtained a BEng Hon degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2006-2007. Continuing their education, Mohsen pursued a Diploma in International Diploma in Management accredited by Chartered Manager Institute (CMI) UK at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) in 2008-2010. Subsequently, they obtained a Master's degree in Total Quality & Performance Management at the University of Bradford in 2007-2008, supported by an HHG Scholarship. Mohsen then focused on finance and accounting, earning a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) degree at the Ernst & Young Training Center on a SCVT Scholarship in 2009-2011. To further enhance their leadership skills, they obtained a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership (CMI - UK) at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) in 2012-2013, supported by the Tamkeen Fund. Throughout their education, Mohsen also acquired additional certifications in various fields, including project management, financial analysis, and process improvement.
