Tim Carter

Tim Carter is a Senior Software Engineer at The Instant Group since June 2023, specializing in building APIs and backend orchestration using Java and Spring Boot, deployed to AWS. Previously, Tim served as a Back End Developer at Senseye, focusing on RESTful micro-services with Golang, and as a Senior Developer at Obillex, working on a Java-based SOAP API application for Supply Chain Finance. Tim has extensive experience in analyst development at LV= and contract roles at Atos Origin and Aerosystems International, among others. Tim began a career in local government as a Passenger Transport Officer before transitioning to technology, culminating in a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Computing from The Open University, complemented by ongoing education through edX and Coursera.
