Annie Chabel

Annie Chabel is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in organizational strategy, fundraising, and operations. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at The Intercept since April 2023, Annie previously operated as a Strategic Fundraising and Operations Consultant for Annie Chabel Consulting. Notable past roles include Chief Operating Officer and Interim CEO at Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting, where Annie managed an $11 million budget, led organizational strategy, and spearheaded fundraising efforts. With earlier positions in development at Bay Area Video Coalition and UCSF’s Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases, combined with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies from McGill University, Annie Chabel has a strong background in managing teams and driving financial growth.
