Melanie Poulsen

Melanie Poulsen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and international relations. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems since August 2020, Melanie oversees electoral assistance programs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, Melanie worked as a Program Manager at WorldStrides, where support was provided to develop itineraries and proposals for international study tours. Additional expertise includes an Overseas Support Specialist role at USAID, offering operational support for the Office of Food for Peace, and a decade-long tenure at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems in various positions, including Senior Program Officer. Melanie holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Brigham Young University.
