Deirdre Kleier is an experienced community educator with a focus on preventing sexual and partner violence, currently serving at The Ion Center For Violence Prevention since April 2020. Previous roles include community educator in health and community development at Purdue University from July 2018 to April 2020 and instructor at the University of Cincinnati from August 2016 to July 2018, where responsibilities included course design and classroom management for undergraduate public speaking courses. Additionally, Deirdre worked as a health navigator for AmeriCorps at the Withrow School-Based Health Center, focusing on health education and patient support from September 2015 to August 2016. Deirdre holds a Master’s Degree in Health Communication and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health Education and Promotion, both from the University of Cincinnati.
