Jessica Lewinsky is an experienced conservation professional currently serving as the Preventive Conservation Officer at The Israel Museum, Jerusalem, since April 2015. Previously, Jessica held the role of Conservator and Head of the Conservation Laboratory at Central Zionist Archives, where responsibilities included establishing the conservation laboratory and developing preventive conservation guidelines. Jessica also contributed to various projects, including work as a Conservator for the Tel Gezer Excavation and Publication Project and multiple restoration roles in institutions such as Museo Nacional de Antropología and Museo Nacional de Arte. Jessica's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Policy & Theory of the Arts, specialized in Curatorial Studies from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Art and Heritage Conservation from Escuela de Conservación y Restauración de Occidente, with a thesis focused on conservation in auction houses.
