Deirdre Walsh

Deirdre Walsh has extensive work experience at The Jack & Jill Children's Foundation. Deirdre started in 2007 as a Fundraising Executive and later became the Fundraising Director, holding this position from November 2012 to July 2019. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of Compliance Manager & Retail. In 2020, Deirdre took on the Head of Fundraising (Interim) position before being appointed as the Head of Retail & Compliance later in the year.

Deirdre Walsh's education history begins with their bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from University College Dublin, which they obtained between the years 1984 and 1987. In 2012 and 2013, they attended Common Purpose Ireland where they completed the Meridian Leadership Programme, focusing on leadership skills. From 2015 to 2016, Deirdre pursued a diploma in Managing People at QQI. The following year, in 2016, they completed a diploma in Coaching at QQI as well. In 2016 and 2017, they furthered their education in Business Management, specifically Business Acumen Level 6, also at QQI. Moving forward, Deirdre completed a diploma in Governance for the Charitable Sector at CPA Ireland, spanning from 2019 to 2020. Deirdre'smost recent educational endeavor was in 2021 at UCD Professional Academy, where they earned a diploma in HR Management.
