Mike Abate

Mike Abate has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Mike is currently the Managing Director at The Jacobson Group since 2022. Prior to this, they held several roles at MetLife, including Head of Distribution, Northeast Regional Vice President & Interim Head of Distribution, AVP/Regional Sales Director, Senior Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Project Manager - Underwriting Manager - Underwriter. Throughout their career, Mike has demonstrated leadership and expertise in managing distribution channels, developing sales teams, setting strategic goals, and overseeing expenses. Mike has been responsible for managing large premiums under management and mentoring and coaching professionals in various roles.
