Michael Hoefer has held various positions in the corporate world for over 30 years. Theircareer began in 1990 as an Independent Sales Representative for Burton Snowboards. In 1992, they moved to Arnette Optics in the same role. In 1997, they became the Sales Director for Bonfire Snowboarding Company and the Director of Sales, Snowboard for Salomon. In 1999, they joined Nixon, where they held the roles of EVP Business Development, VP of Global Sales, Interim CEO, Interim COO, Interim Operations Director, and Director of Sales, North America. In 2017, they became the CEO of The James Brand. Most recently, in 2018, they became a Mentor at the Lavin Entrepreneurship Center.
Michael Hoefer obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Siena College between 1985 and 1989. In 2013, they completed an Executive Education Certificate, Interpersonal Dynamics for High-Performance Executives from Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education.
