Azusena Favela

Azusena Favela is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement, project management, and program development. Currently serving as Senior Program Officer at The James Irvine Foundation since March 2022, Azusena has also worked as an Independent Consultant, providing expertise in asset-based community development and leadership training to clients such as the City of Los Angeles and Wells Fargo. Previous roles include Deputy Director at the County of Los Angeles Department of Consumer and Business Affairs and Director of Programs & Operations at Inclusive Action for the City. Azusena's background includes a Master of Science in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Chicano/a Studies from UCLA.
