Jose Delgado

Jose Delgado currently serves as a Senior Program Officer at The James Irvine Foundation since March 2022. Previously, Jose held multiple leadership roles at Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, including Director of Government Affairs and Associate Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs from June 2016 to March 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an Advisor to the City Administrative Officer for the City of Los Angeles, District Director for Congresswoman Linda T. Sanchez, and various positions within Sanchez's office between 2004 and 2014. Jose also gained early experience as a Legislative Intern with the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic-Americans and as a Student Program Director with AmeriCorp VISTA. Jose holds a degree from UCLA and furthered education at Harvard Kennedy School in 2014-2015.
