John Frederick Ashburne

John Frederick Ashburne is a seasoned freelance writer, editor, and author with extensive experience in journalism and media. Currently serving as a Special Advisor on International Relations and Media at Kyoto University's Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS) since April 2015, Ashburne also contributes to various publications, including the Wall Street Journal and The Japan Times, focusing on economics and politics in the Kansai region.
