Ramyar Hassani

Ramyar Hassani has extensive experience in community work, journalism, and education. Since May 2018, Ramyar has served as a Community Worker at Kirkens Bymisjon and has been a Columnist for the Jerusalem Post since December 2015. Previously, Ramyar worked as a Columnist for Fair Observer from March 2018 to January 2019 and as a Translator & Interpreter for Advocates Abroad from October 2016 to October 2018. Additionally, Ramyar served as a Course Instructor at Follo Qualification Centre for Refugees and as a Project Support Coordinator for Community Peacemaker Teams. Other roles included Teaching Assistant at an Adult education center, Cultural Mediator for Médecins Sans Frontières, and Program Assistant for Faros. Ramyar holds a Bachelor's degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies and Religion/Religious Studies from the University of Oslo, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Zankoy Sulaimany.
