Lynn Hobeck Bates

Lynn Hobeck Bates, APR, CPRC, serves as the Head of Marketing and Communications at The Ringling, where strategic marketing and communications efforts are focused on enhancing the estate's reputation as a cultural destination. As the owner of L PR + Communications since October 2021, Lynn provides tailored public relations and marketing consulting. Previously, Lynn held the position of Director of Marketing at Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy, where marketing strategies supported revenue goals. Lynn also advanced the strategic vision for branding and communications as Vice President for External Relations at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens and played a key role in driving tourism initiatives as Communications/Public Relations Manager for Visit Sarasota County. Education includes a B.S. in Psychology from James Madison University and an M.Ed. in Leadership, Policy, Organizations from Vanderbilt University.
