David Jansing

Section Supervisor, Non-optical Imaging at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory

David Jansing is a technical leader and project manager at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where David is responsible for developing solutions that extract actionable intelligence from remotely sensed data. David is also a Chief Engineer at the Electromagnetic Systems Group, focusing on algorithm development in hyperspectral imaging, synthetic aperture radar, and ocean remote sensing using machine learning techniques. Additionally, David teaches Synthetic Aperture Radar signal processing and image formation at Johns Hopkins University. Prior to their current roles, David has held various engineering positions at OmniEarth, The Aerospace Corporation, Eastman Kodak, and the FBI. David holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering, an MEng in Electrical Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science in Electrical Engineering.
