Mary Savery

Mary Savery has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mary is currently working as an Engagement Lead at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Operations Coordinator at the same company starting from March 2020.

Before joining The Johns Hopkins University, Mary worked as a Management Consultant at Lafayette Group from July 2018 to February 2020. In this role, they designed and developed products used on Capitol Hill and nationwide, led the development of an enterprise data analytics program within a DHS component, and oversaw the development of election security products for states and counties.

From October 2016 to July 2018, Mary worked as a Contracts Specialist at General Dynamics Mission Systems. During this time, they managed contracts totaling approximately $220 million and implemented process improvements for faster contract execution.

Prior to that, Mary was an Associate Contracts Professional at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. from July 2015 to October 2016. Mary'sresponsibilities included leading a cross-functional team to create an international shipping process, authoring acquisition strategies and placement recommendations for the government.

Mary also gained valuable experience at Target as an Executive Intern from June 2014 to December 2014, where they managed store operations, specialized in human resources, and led large teams of employees.

Earlier in their career, Mary worked as a NEXT Management Consulting Fellow at Siena College from April 2013 to December 2014. In this role, they worked with non-profits to increase their sustainability and impact. Mary also worked as a Research Analyst, conducting interviews and analyzing data for case studies.

Additionally, Mary has entrepreneurial experience as the founder of Little Miss Mary, where they served as an entrepreneur from May 2009 to December 2014.

Mary Savery attended Siena College from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management.
