Sara Nasab

Sara Nasab is a Senior Systems Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since July 2022. Prior experience includes a position as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz from September 2015 to August 2021, focusing on the fluid dynamics of particle-laden flows. Sara also served as a Computational Research Division Intern at Berkeley Lab in mid-2018, where work involved developing a point-particle hybrid code using Fortran and C++. Earlier internship experience at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory focused on data analysis related to the Fukushima Nuclear incident. Academically, Sara Nasab earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Middle Tennessee State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
